Abstract

The emergence of COVID-19 as a public health emergency by the World Health Organization has brought a number of precautions such as quarantine, social distance or in some cases total blockages in the region or countries of the world.

Conclusions

The results of the study show that a significant proportion of isolated individuals exhibit temporary behavioral changes in daily life, as evidenced by the proportion of anxiety symptoms and depression according to data obtained with SPSS in percentage.

Recommendations

Public authorities must deploy their capacity to meet people’s needs and address both the physical and mental health impacts of social isolation, including intimate partner violence.
